Internet Challenge

Today we will take a look at a few news articles about China's first man in space.
Use the Google News button to search for news about China's first man in space.
Find one or two articles about China's space program then answer the following question:

The United States and other countries have been sending people into space for years now. Why is it important (or not important) for China to send a person into space?

Please write one to two complete paragraphs that answer the above question.
As always send them via email to period(3,5 or 6)@icacademy.org.

When you finish go to the Solar Observatory website and vote on your favorite image of the sun. Be sure to view the most current images of the sun. Note the date and time that the images were captured.

1) Complete your CD Purchasing chart through December. Use the border tools to make your data easier to read. Use color to classify the different months.

2) Print out your assignment and turn in to Mr. Woods
